Mathseed is wonderful! The teachers are kind, patience and knowledgeable. My kid improved a lot in math just 3 months after she goes to Mathseed. They teach Singapore math which is more advance and yet it helps the kids to have a better understanding of the fundamentals. My kids used to be a little behind in school, but ever since she goes to Mathseed, she is no longer behind but now she is even a little above average. She is very happy with her improvement and she loves Mathseed! Highly recommended!

My son started with Mathseed's competition math class about 1.5 years ago when he was in 2nd grade. We chose the school despite it being far from our home because I was attracted to the curriculum -- Unlike traditional math schools which put emphasis on math drills and computation, Mathseed's curriculum focused on developing critical thinking and problem solving skills. With that foundation, students were well prepared to handle challenging problems such as those in math olympiads and national contests. I still remember a conversation I had with my son's teacher (one of the owners), Jack, about 2 weeks after enrollment. He shared with me his observation -- While our son was bright, he had two bad habits that hindered his progress: 1) He overly relied on mental math and, 2) he solved problems without showing detailed steps and when he did his handwriting was confusing. Both resulted in careless mistakes he could have avoided. I was quite impressed as Jack was indeed spot on and care deeply about his students. Eventually, we were able to correct those bad habits. Fast forward 1.5 years later, our son has flourished under the tutelage of Jack and Megan. I am still in awe at ho

My 8yo son has been attending Mathseed for the past 2 years. We have noticed improvement on accuracy and speed, and overall confidence in math. Mathseed is the only place we have found that teaches and follows the common core curriculum using the Singapore math technique, which uses a lot of visual cues/ graphs/ word problems to demonstrate a concept.

My daughter has been going to MathSeed for last 3 years and we are very happy! She looks forward to her competitive math class every week and enjoys solving problems with other kids. The teacher is very caring and provides a stress free environment for the kids.
